Baltimore B&B West Cork Guest Reivews for Rathmore House in Baltimore, West Cork, Ireland
“Welcomed with tea and scones by a wonderful hostess”
This B&B is a little out of town BUT has a fantastic view over the harbour. Our room was in the top floor facing the front so we could enjoy the view until nightfall. Marguerite is a wonderful hostess. She loves what she does and makes you feel very welcome. The room is bright and cheerful and spacious. Unfortunately we had to leave before 6:00am so did not sample the breakfast but Marguerite made some fruit salad for us to have with some cereal before we set off. We would have happily stayed longer. Highly recommended.

“Wonderful experience”
Margarite was a delightful hostess. Most friendly place we stayed in all of Ireland. Quaint small town feel. B and B clean and modern. Yummy food. She bakes her own scones, brown bread and jam. I would recommend it to anyone and the village was friendly and warm. Great meal at the local pub I can’t wait to return

“Lovely stay in a lovely house”
Baltimore is a bit off the beaten path but it was a pleasant surprise. Marguerite was incredibly welcoming and her house is beautiful. Her rooms are spacious and very well appointed. Breakfast was delightful. Overall the top place we’ve stayed so far in our 7 nights in Ireland.

“One of the best B&Bs we’ve been to”
We only stayed one night on our coastal trip of Ireland, but he Rathmore house was by far one of the top, if not the top, bed and breakfast we stayed at so far. Big rooms and beautiful views from them, quiet, clean and spacious rooms. We stayed in a room with 4 beds for a family of four. Breakfast was very good. While it may not be located in a must-see destination, it’s a great stop along your way.

“Great View and Location”
We stayed four days at Rathmore House and the owner could not be any more accomadtions and lovely. Looking out for us and helping us with our needs. The best is the heated blanket. Would visited again. Thanks.

“Outstanding Quality and Superb Views”
We stayed at Rathmore House for one night in May. We would gladly have stayed longer. The welcome was warm and our room was of the quality of a five star hotel, with every amenity, including electric blankets, provided. The view from our window across the estuary was spectacular. Breakfast was also impressive – particularly the fact that the coffee was served freshly brewed. But what was really amazing was the price. 70 euros for a twin bed room. Incredible value.

“Great Views and Great Service”
While you will need you car to get to Baltimore from here, this is a great B&B. Margurette is a wonderful host and her Kippers and eggs are a delight. You’re in walking distance of the Sibin Bar for dinner (one of the best dinners we had in Ireland). Comfy rooms for family. Great views.
